HEALTH EXPERTS EXPLAIN WHY AGING IS NO EXCUSE FOR POOR HEALTH
Sarasota, Florida - It's "never too late" for good health, and aging is not an excuse. A free seminar, sponsored by 20 Minutes To Fitness, will explore the causes of an unhealthy body and demonstrate how a person, regardless of their age, can effectively improve their health and greatly enhance their chance for a healthy life.
The "Never Too Late" Health Seminar will be held at Keiser College Auditorium, 6151 Lake Osprey Drive, Sarasota, on Thursday, May 8, from 7:00- 8:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 6:15 p.m.
People in their 70s and 80s can reduce health risks by improving their strength and flexibility. Many health issues - including osteoporosis, arthritis, high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, and some forms of cancer - can be caused by issues that can be overcome, such as inactivity, stress, and poor nutrition.
At this seminar, easy-to understand health advice will be offered by a panel of experts: personal fitness trainers, a physical therapist, a doctor of chiropractic medicine, and a nutritionist. Participants can submit questions for the experts when making a reservation for the seminar or on the night of the seminar.
"We are pleased to bring these health experts together to offer their advice as to how all of us, regardless of our age, can stay healthy and maintain a quality life as we age," shares Virginia Phillips, President of 20 Minutes To Fitness. "Our panelists will help our attendees clearly understand that aging is not an excuse for an unhealthy body."
Reservations must be made by May 5, and space is limited. To make a reservation or for further information (including directions to Keiser College), please contact Angela Begin or Al Roach at 20 Minutes To Fitness, 941.309.8989.
