Gives to the Hurricane Fund for Inches Lost
Sarasota, FL - "You lose inches and we’ll donate dollars to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund!" That was the rallying cry given by President and Co-Owner, Virginia Phillips, and the Team at 20 minutes To Fitness. In August the company created its 20 Minutes To Fitness "Inches for Relief" charity campaign as a vehicle for the Company and its Clients to work together to contribute to the hurricane victims in Florida and along the Gulf Coast.
"Everyone here wanted to help the hurricane victims," says Phillips, "So the idea of connecting improved health benefits with a charitable donation was a natural." It must have worked as the amount to be donated totaled over $1,000.
The participating Clients were measured after three months of individual conditioning by their Personal Fitness Coaches. "To everyone’s surprise and delight, the average "inches lost" per Client was over seven inches," reports Phillips, "We knew that our Clients were showing great results, but had no idea that the progress would be this significant. Needless to say, we were very happy. And our Clients, well, they were really pleased!"
